Jeanne D'Arc Credit Union understands the needs of business owners and entrepreneurs. After all, we have been providing state-of-the-art financial products and legendary member service to the community for more than 90 years.
Business Membership Eligibility
Any business (fraternal organization, voluntary association, sole proprietorship, partnership or corporation), having a usual place of business within Massachusetts and composed principally of individuals who are themselves eligible for consumer membership at Jeanne D'Arc Credit Union may become a business member.
All business members must maintain either a Business Savings Account or Business Money Market Savings Account.
How to Open Your Business Account
Simply visit your local branch to establish your Business Account(s). To begin the process, print and complete the Business Membership Application & Agreement, the Jeanne D'Arc Credit Union Business Account Resolution form and gather the following documentation for your visit to your local branch.
Before you visit with us...
- Plan approximately 30 minutes for your session with our Member Service Representative. The amount of time may vary depending on the number of products and services you would like.
- Based on your form of ownership, the following documentation is required to establish your Jeanne D'Arc Credit Union Business Account:
- Sole Proprietor
- Sole Proprietor's Social Security Number (SSN) or Tax Identification Number (EIN)
- A Certificate of Existence from the City/Town or IRS TIN Certificate
- A Jeanne D'Arc Credit Union Business Account Resolution Form
- Corporation
- The Business Tax Identification Number (EIN)
- A Certified Copy of the Corporate Resolution
- A Jeanne D'Arc Credit Union Business Account Resolution Form
- General and Limited Partnership
- The Business Tax Identification Number (EIN)
- Partnership Agreement listing all partners
- Including section of Agreement granting Banking Powers
- If the title of the Account does not reflect the names of all Partners;
- A Certified Copy of Fictitious Name Certificate or copy of Notice published in newspaper (indicating Account title) required
- A Jeanne D'Arc Credit Union Business Account Resolution Form
- Non-Profit Organization, Unincorporated Association or Organization
- The Business Tax Identification Number (EIN)
- If non-profit, 501C tax exempt certification from IRS
- If Incorporated, Certified Copy of the Corporate Resolution
- If not Incorporated, a letter from the organization on letterhead authorizing establishment of account and authorized signers.
- A Jeanne D'Arc Credit Union Business Account Resolution Form
- You will need two forms of identification for each Authorized Signer, such as a valid state issued driver's license or US Passport & Foreign Passport (unexpired), or other Jeanne D'Arc Credit Union approved form of identification.
- Our Credit Union complies with Section 326 of the USA Patriot Act. This law mandates that we verify certain information about all signers on the account, including name, legal address, date of birth and social security or tax identification number, while processing your account application.
